this honestly just came out of left fucking field i would have never expected to hear anything like this in this show. consider me Pleasantly Surprised tbh
i’m finally making a pinned post since that’s what all the cool kids are doing these days (since bio pages aren’t really accessible via mobile). this is very likely to change as well so just bare with me
Pronouns: He/She/They in equal measure (basically whatever you feel like, but no neo-pronouns or It/Its thanks <3).
I’ve changed my name a lot because i’m extremely nonbinary and some of my old tags reflect that (i’ve had this blog around long enough that at this point i’m too lazy to change like 100+ tags on old posts). I tag posts i make with either #anny talks or #nonna talks and asks with #anny asks (i’m very bad about answering asks just fyi, apologies).
there’s a lot of bullshit on this blog since it’s my main. I have two side blogs as well, a merfolk aesthetic blog, and a TAZ/CR fanblog, but honestly there’s a LOT of cross over and only some of it is accidental.
Mostly a lot of shitposts but the main fandoms you’ll probably find is mcyt (Hermitcraft, Life Series (all under the tag 3rd life because i’m lazy), Empires SMP, individual creators, maybe some Origins thrown in for flavor. No DSMP here and I’m shipping neutral (i don’t post/reblog any of that content full stop)), Zelda ,Critical Role, The Adventure Zone, and whatever else I’m fixated on at the moment (other videongames, shows, the works). Used to be very into Homestuck and I refuse to change my URL now. I’m also a slut for music, history, agriculture, the ocean, and space. you might see that shit as well.
But yeah, lots of shitposting, lots of memes, good wholesome content, lots minecraft, d&d, the works.
If you made it all the way to the bottom of the page, congratz! You get the illustrious bonus content of Herbert the Very Low Res Iron Golem:

i love him
This was the autism episode
people seem to forget that house was a multiply disabled man, so it should be a given that he’d be against eugenics and eugenicist doctors
And this is how you activist in your medical douchebag show. And yes, House is DEEPLY flawed. But this part can stay.
Alright, for those not up to date on Iskall’s vods, here’s the deal. He’s been dealing with something truly horrid since his last youtube upload, something he does not want to talk about.
However, he’s planning on making a return to uploading videos soonish. No specific dates. Just soon.
When Iskall does return- whenever that might be- we should try to come out in force for him. Remember when Mumbo took some time off? When Jevin mentioned he was feeling crummy? When Wels and Joe said they needed some help?
Same deal. When Iskall comes back, let’s get into that comments section and make some positive noise!
“And remember: you’re worth the time it takes to learn a new skill!”
oh my goodness I love her she’s so wholesome
#She has a book about to come out??#Prev tags say Mercury Stardust which might be her name?
Yeah! Her name is Mercury Stardust, and she’s a maintenance technician who gives tips and talks about renters’ rights. She also does burlesque shows! She’s mostly active on TikTok I think, but she has some other socials and a main website.
Her book, titled “Safe and Sound: A Renter-Friendly Guide to Home Repair” comes out in August 2023.
The book blurb, taken from the publisher’s website:
Dear Readers:
As a transwoman, I’ve discovered (the hard way) that we live in a world with much to fear. But imagine fearing something as simple as asking for help. Imagine relying on others—landlords—to provide a basic human right, like housing, but knowing those same people believe you’re an abomination because of your sexuality or gender identity. Imagine a world where reaching out for help is more than just a mundane task—it’s a game of chance. Sadly, for too many renters, this isn’t just a one-time moment of fear. For single moms, college students in a foreign town, and many others, a knock on the door can feel just as terrifying, even when you need the help.
All renters deserve to feel empowered enough to take matters into their own hands. The skills I’ll show you how to develop will allow you to help friends, teach family members, and even assist a panicking neighbor—further empowering more people to take on tasks on their own. We all have a home—whether it’s made up of brick walls or plaster—filled with memories and dreams. Knowledge should pass through any barriers put up around it because a little bit of knowledge can go a long way toward making someone feel more in control of their own life.
Your soon-to-be favorite virtual repair technician,
Mercury Stardust, the Trans Handy Ma’am
Saw ur reblog of the google doc thing and recommended cryptcpad and is there advice on how to use it?
The UI looks very similar to Google Docs or other word processors, so it shouldn’t take too long time to get used to Cryptpad instead of Google Docs. Cryptpad works the same as Google Docs (including shared editing, ability to write comments, allowing others to read etc), with the difference that it is fully end-to-end encrypted and the server admins have no access to your data. This means that if you lose your password nobody can help you retrieve it, so make sure once you have made an account, you know how to access it.
It is possible to use Cryptpad without an account as a guest, but afaik after a couple months of inactivity it’ll get deleted, so it’s easiest to sign up. That said, the guest version works just as well, and I have used it for drafting numerous group projects for university without any problems. Just create a document, set your “sharing” preferences and send the link to your other peers.
This is their documentation and FAQ: https://docs.cryptpad.org/en/index.html
Cryptpad is open-source and free to use, though of course donations (one-time or recurring) are appreciated.
Hope that helped :)
saying “are you haunted? are you fucking possessed?” is my favorite way to express my taking issue with someone else’s behavior. like brother you are acting so strange and unlike yourself that the only explanation is you are being tormented by a spirit of some kind.
i have witnessed unspeakable horrors . the horrors weren’t undescribable or anything, i just had to sign an NDA
Something deeply painful is the fact that seasons, especially fall, dont feel the same. Not because of individual maturity but because climate change has impacted the weather patterns so so so much that we cant even experience the same annual shifts that our ancestors have for centuries
I feel displaced, i yearn for the spring, summer, fall, and winter that i can barely remember experiencing
To make things worse, if you’re under 50-60 years old, you can’t even remember what normal seasons were like because you weren’t alive to experience them
In the graph above, you can see how there’s a clear tipping point in the late 1970′s, which is when global temperatures first began to really skyrocket.
I was born in 1997, so about 20 years after this shift occurred. There is an immense difference between the climate now and the climate I remember growing up in, but the way I experienced the seasons in my childhood was already fundamentally different from what the seasons were supposed to be like! My parents were pretty much the last generation to experience a normal climate, and that’s just… incredibly sad
I am processing this information in a normal way devoid of rabid rage and bloodlust i am processing this information in a normal wa-
I’m just old enough to remember the tail end of real seasons. I can’t express how different it is now.
I think I’ve heard of this as climate trauma or climate amnesia. And really emphasizes the fact that climate change is an all-encompassing phenomenon
I grew up in LA, so no real seasons.
However, I grew up when the smog was EXTREMELY BAD. So, I want to say, that I experienced environmental change that included improvements which were directly created by legislation.
Yes, I’m extremely distressed and depressed by all this, but I hope we can still affect change.
they would NOT fucking have communication skills that good
Tumbleweed at all times looks like he’s pouting, I can’t help but laugh at him just a little
And my favorite even though it’s blurry

saddest beast on planet earth
all goofing aside I genuinely don’t understand the urge to reimagine Taylor Allison Swift as a secretly queer icon when the pop music scene™ is like. literally overflowing with women who actually like women. Gaga and Kesha and Miley and Halsey are right there. Rina Sawayama and Hayley Kiyoko and Rebecca Black and Kehlani and Victoria Monét and Miya Folick if you’re willing to get slightly less top 100. Janelle and Demi for them nonbinary takes on liking girls. like what are we doing here. like I’m not even saying you can’t enjoy Taylor but why would you hang all your little gay hopes on her.
Isn’t Lady Gaga bisexual?
yes that is indeed why she’s on the list of famous women who like women
why have multiple people reblogged this with some horse-assed “um actually most of these people are bi or pan” did I fucking stutter I said they like girls. what is your point. I’m going to kill you.
#op probably has this post muted but the icon is too real.
the icon is because of this post
POV: you make a good post and then encounter tumblr reading comprehension
btw to just clarify for anyone who sees this reblog of this post
op is basically saying something along the lines of “yea ik taylor swift is bi but like. why is she y'all’s only lgbtq+ pop icon when there are all these other lgbtq+ people in the pop scene???”
i might have worded this badly but hopefully i got the main point across
hi op here I certainly did not fucking say Taylor Swift is bi
